Dear Visitor,

As you are undoubtedly aware after visiting our site, TALES FROM THE TUNNEL has
been selected to be a part of this year’s NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE
FESTIVAL, a production of THE PRESENT COMPANY. This highly-competitive,
world-renowned festival is an amazing opportunity! Last year, the festival brought
75,000 people into their theaters during two weeks of shows.

TALES FROM THE TUNNEL is based upon real-life stories from the New York City
Subway System. In it, six actors play over 100 characters, each telling of their own
unique experiences underground. We are the co-writers and co-directors of the show.

As we’re sure you all know, the advancement of new artistic work also comes with
increased costs. Casting notices, the rental of space for auditions, rehearsals and
performances, insurance fees, designers, union requirements, postcards,
advertising—everything involved in mounting a new show—are costs that very few
young artists can afford. Each FringeNYC production is self-supporting financially, and
often needs to fundraise to make up for the expenses that even a high volume of ticket
sales cannot cover. In an effort to raise the money we need to put this show on, we're
depending on your financial support.

There are several levels of giving available and we hope that you will be able to support
us in any way that you feel able:

• Straphanger - $99 and under

• Conductor - $100 - $499 (Donors receive a listing in the show program.)

• Station Superintendent - $500-$999 (Donors receive a listing in the show program,
and an invitation to an exclusive cocktail party hosted by Peter Shaerf and Betsy
Scherl.)

• Mayor B - $1,000 and above (Donors receive all of the above, and four tickets to a
performance of TALES FROM THE TUNNEL. $940 of this donation is
tax-deductible
.)

TALES FROM THE TUNNEL is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts
service organization. Contributions in behalf of TALES FROM THE TUNNEL may be
made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
